How can I get a guy to notice me as a woman?

The guy I like treats me like a little girl.
We have a 10+ years difference, but I always put on nice clothes and the right amount of makeup, but when we talk he asks only about my work and studies, or if I need help with stuff.
She treats me like my dad or a teacher would and I don't like. I mean I like when he offers to take care of me, but I'd like for him to take notice of me as a woman and take care of other 'needs'.
Should I be direct with him?

Funny I put up a post earlier about “is it right for people to criticize age gaps?” I dated a girl your age about 2 years ago. We had a ton of fun. I treated her well and she treated me well. I knew it wasn’t going to last (she ended it) but we had an awesome 9 months.

Be direct and tell him how you feel. After you may need to give him a few days to process it mentally if he originally didn't think of you that way and then contact him again and ask him what he thinks again. I'd suggest even making him a card and write inside how you feel about him. That way he could read it alone and have time to himself to think about it and make a decision. Then contact him two or three days after and ask what he thinks. Write in it that you are serious too.

Unless he’s gay (and I’m guessing he’s not) he would of eyed you up at some point and made a comment. You would know. Either that he’s just extremely conscientious about his age and paranoid about the creep factor.
