Why is it taking him so long to respond?

A man who swiped yes on my profile, after being offline for over a week, read my messages and never texted me or responded to my messages (I only sent two); after over a week, since his last message. I can handle it if it’s rejection. I take rejection pretty well.

Normally, I’d say he wasn’t interested if it’s taking him this long, but he does have a full time job as a manager and it is close to Christmas. So should I wait a bit longer, before I delete my profile? This is the only man on there whose appearance AND profile caught my interest.

For example I broke up less than a month ago, with a woman that treated me very poorly.

Yet I chatted with you one day, for example, and I was very happy to do so.

Still I feel very conflicted myself about how I ended with such complicated person, and what it means concerning how I relate to other women.

I also know that other woman in real life that seemed very eager to do activities with me, but I'm unsure if doing so right now will be constructive for her. So I avoided it for the time being.
