Why does it take him so long to reply?

This guy found my number through our common whatssap group for exchange students. I asnwered his message, however did not initiate further conversation. So in several months I texted him myself asking questions about the university in his country. He said that he didn't expect me to text him and he was glad to hear from me. He is super polite, cute and interesting. However, it takes a week for him to reply to my messages. At first he apologized, now he doesn't. Like he says he is busy, but whenever I post a story he watches it. Recently he said he will visit my town in like 3 months and he would love to meet me. He also said I should be patient. Lol I never said that I was so much excited to meet him. I really don't understand him. If he wants to meet me why does it take him so long to answer?

Some people claim someone takes forever and it’s only been five minutes but a WEEK! Even if someone is busy. A week is too long. If someone takes THAT long to respond. I just stop talking to them.
