Why does she take so long to reply, is she playing games?

I texted this girl I like and she took 24h to reply, I was asking her a question and it was not a difficult one to answer. She was not busy as she was online for 2h after I sent her the text and she was online the next day too. When she replied she mentioned 2 future events in which we will see each other.
For context, I had done that to her before and also left her on read twice (I'm not good at texting at all and I dont like it)
Is it possible she is playing mind games to get my attention? This is hard for me to believe as she's 26 and I'm 21, this is something teenagers do, not adults. Anyway, if what she wants is my attention should I give it to her or play mind games too?

Well what did you say to her and how did she respond? But 1 day delayed response already tells you are friend-zoned. Again depends on more details which you need to include. How did you communicate before that, how far did you get? It matters so I can judge the situation better.
