Why is it so difficult to get a boyfriend in high school?

i’m 16, 17 in January and i’ve never had a boyfriend and i’m still a virgin, i’ve had guys interested and i obviously talk to guys but it never goes anywhere? i’m always myself and i’m super nice to everyone and i always try to make people smile or laugh, but it’s getting to a point where if you turn 17 in junior year of highschool and never been in a relationship it gets embarassing, like people start to raise eyebrows, family at Christmas dinner get suspicious and might think there is something wrong with you, other boys interested get weirded out and confused when they find out you have 0 romantic experience and tbh i don’t know what to do.

i might have undiagnosed autism since my teachers and doctors have suspected (which could kill my social life if anyone finds out) and i honestly don’t really know what to do. i’m trying to balance school, friendships, home life, work, learning how to drive, saving money, getting assessed and obviously romantic situations and i feel completely lost and tbh a bit of a “loser”.

Okay first of all time up you're not even close to being a loser so don't even say that

Look at all the positive things going on in your life right now and you're doing very well at

You're at that age where you want to experience things try things you want to see what things feel like

Don't be in such a hurry
Because I was going to take is the wrong guy that knows what you're looking for and he's going to offer himself and it's going to be wham bam thank you ma'am. And he's going to be gone you're not even know what happened because he'll be selfish and only thinking of himself and you don't want that you want your first experience to be a good a great experience
And if you're talking about sexual things just please protect yourself make sure he wears protection too if a guy does not do that and if you're not protected don't even do it it's not worth it it's 50-50 odds that you can get pregnant.

So just keep progressing your whole life keep going forward and everything else that you're doing it will all come together

I got very lucky because I was 16 and a half my first kind of relationship type thing LOL and I got super lucky with that because she was older and the first three times suck according to me she said it was great according to her

But on her fourth time we both seen fireworks and then she knew what I was talking about and if it wasn't for her I might not know what I know today because of having sex that four times with her and having that little bit of a relationship that we did have so just be patient. It will all happen

Is it Christmas time I can tell you what I did when you're it didn't make anybody any more quieter but I knew this chick that was a hooker and I invited her up for Christmas dinner just to see what all my family was going to say I thought it was funnier than funny so does my cousins but I think my aunt did too but I don't know if my mom did it was funny but the next Christmas everybody had a good laugh

Half the girls that have this problem at that age are super picky and will only date the top 5% of guys. The other half of women at that age with this problem have it because they consider asking a guy out beneath them. Which would be fine if she were good at letting her attraction be known to guy's she was attracted to. But she doesn't do that either.

I remember a girl I went to school with. We were in drivers ed class. together, the theater class together, speech squad, we had a lot of fun together. But she was INCREDIBLY beautiful. Way out of my league😆. And she always wanted me to ask her out. But she never communicated that to me. I would have dated her in a heartbeat! It wasn't till a couple decades later at a reunion where she asked me why I never asked her out. I looked at her like she was crazy and said you never would've went out with me. And she said I would've if you'd asked. So now, I know... a couple decades too late.🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️😆

I didn't have my first girlfriend until I was in college. At your age focus on your friendships (meaningful ones, not fair-weather friends) and academics. You have decades ahead of you to meet "Mr. Right."
