How should I take it if a guy I’ve texted for over a month opens up to me and talks about deep things but never asks or continues to talk about me?

He says that he appreciates me listening to him and feels comfortable around me and that in the only ones who understands. But he doesn’t seem that interested in other things I have to say as when I said that I was gonna buy a thing bcs he didn’t ask what I bought and when I told him he gave a response that didn’t seem that interested

You sound friend zoned with a chance to earn a roster spot if you put out. You'll know if someone is into you because they're trying to learn about you. If he cared you would know. Don't delude yourself into thinking he's coming around nor should you want that. Move on and find someone that actually wants to know you and spend time on you.

He has said that he is interested in me and that it is hard to say what will happen, he did say tho that we could spend a holiday together next year and he added “ who knows “ at the end
