I texted him first one day to show my support for sth, didn't have any feelings towards him then, just wanted him not to be sad. He picked up our chat , now we text each other every day. He shares things from his life but can be private about some stuff. He likes to tease me and joke around but can be very sensitive at times. As I got to know him more, I started developing feelings inside. And him texting every day and doing it first made me doubt if it is mutual. He is very sociable and has a calm personality.
I once said he doesn't know me yet (in the beginning), and these days if i find something surprising about him, he just keeps saying i don't know him. I get angry, I made a special birthday card for him and wrote poems especially for him. In person, he gives me that smile every time he says hi.
A year ago, he confessed to my bestie, she said she didn't want any relationship at that time (he said he is not ready yet himself) but then there was this other guy my bestie suddenly fell in love and they started datin, her "boyfriend" then approached him, put him down telling girls like my bestie aren't his level. i haven't heard of this story until now, this year she broke up with her boyfriend.
on prom day these two were very close, i didn't need any confirmation, his body language towards her showed it all. but when he came home, he texted me again. yesterday, he told me he has no crushes.
it was recently when he for first time brought up his ex, i was taken aback he shared, cause he is private. today my bestie asked him if he was in our chat group, he said he didn't have the app and wouldn't install it. if he really likes her he would reach out, yeah? i am really confused by his behavior, i doubt if i am his friend. he doesn't pay enough attention to what i say even, he acts forgetful if i remind him of something, like he is playing, why put effort into the communication with me if he doesn't remember small things i tell him?
