It's understandable that you feel guilty, because society bombards us with the message that women who sleep with other men are "bad" since childhood.

It's a false message, though. We have evolved for polyandry (where one woman has multiple men), so your cheating on him was only natural. Women have a natural desire to be with multiple men, so trying to force them to live in monogamy doesn't work.

Your cheating was actually a healthy reaction to this. Just accept that you did the natural thing, and try to let go of the guilt. There is no need to feel guilty at all.

I also don't see any need to tell your boyfriend. If you want to stay with him, then there's no point in hurting him for no reason. Just continue the relationship. :)
