While it’s okay to feel lonely don’t get carried away into being in a relationship just for the sake of being in one. Being in a real relationship does take time as well as finding the right person.

There are people who become too desperate and get too involved with someone that isn’t meant to be. It’s better to be single and happy then in a situation like that.

I didn't know there were people who didn't want to be in love.

I get when people say "no" to relationships due the varying degrees of work and disappointment they invariably entail but the emotional state is like sugar. It's addictive. Most avoid or try to reduce it due to the negative side effects on health, teeth and brain but very few would say they hate the taste itself.
