This lady i known at my job for a minute now, recently we’ve been getting closer and I guess I’ve been growing feelings for her lately., recently she asked me to go with her to breakfast after work to waffle twice.. This pass week she asked to come over and decorated my Christmas tree and she brought me gifts (kitchen towels, candles, and card games)…I want to buy her gifts but I’ll feel like a sucker because we don’t have any kind of romantically relationship (LIKE WHATS THE POINT).. I’m feeling her a lot and I want to b more than just friends..3 months ago I asked her on a date, she replied “ we can hang out, but rather not date, because we work together and don’t want to cause any conflict issues. I respected her boundaries.. I just want to know is she interested in me or just being genuinely friendly?

My guess is she put it in your head early on that she had at least mild interest in you (that wasn't an accident). Some women do this. Then you ask them out and they say no. Because your feelings are not her problem. Which just goes to show you you're no friend of hers even. Why do some women do this? I couldn't really tell you. I know they get a charge out of it. You're not a dumbass. Every guy has made this mistake at least once. The key is trying make sure it's JUST ONCE. Learn from this.
If it were me I'd cut her off and go completely ice cold on her. If she the person I think she is. She'll start semi pursuing you. For better relations she still won't want to date you. This is just an attempt to get you to bite on the hook again. It's up tou you if you want to pay her back a little. Throw her own game back at her. Personally I wouldn't. Sounds like she likes you but she’s afraid to do anything about it because you work together. She’s not wrong for that, but if you want more try starting slow. Definitely don’t buy her a gift. Just ask her out for a simple cup of coffee and just ease into the topic of dating. Worse thing that can happen is she’ll say no, but at least you’ll know. If she refuses again however, I would just move on and find someone else.
