Is she interested in me as a friend or as something more?

Anonymous

So I started talking to this girl I met through a dating app. She didn't specify what she was looking for though, but I was still interested in her regardless as friends, casual, something serious, etc. We got to talking and explained how we're both antisocial and don't have many friends, to which she asked if I wanted to be her friend. I said "absolutely!". Today we texted for hours and only stopped because I said I was going to try to take a nap and she said the same thing. I couldn't sleep (I have trouble sleeping even when I can't keep my eyes open) so I think I'm going to just do stuff until she texts me. In our conversation she asked me if I had any plans and I said "Not really. I would suggest we hang out, but I need to mentally prepare first" and she said that she would need to prepare too and we scheduled something for next weekend. She suggested breakfast or lunch to which I agreed for breakfast. Growing up I was taught that the guy should always pay for the girl which I got no problem with, but I know nowadays some people think that's uncomfortable. I don't know if this is a date or not? I'm feeling super confused and don't know how to proceed? Should I text her? Should i not? I mean we just started talking yesterday and we already have plans for next week, so this has to be a good sign right?
