Do you think she is interested in me, or is she just being friendly?

Hi all,

We went to a ball over Christmas it went well, she wanted to take some photos with me no matter what with the professional camera, and then put the casual ones we took together on her Whats App story, I'm friends with her friends cause she introduced me to them

She invited me out to places such as her church; I'm not that religious myself, but I went there to spend some time with her. Her walking me back to the station and us having 1 and 1 time with each other occasionally. She even offered to buy the ticket for me several times

Had a call with a girl that I've been taking to (we have been texting everyday, not all day). She wanted to call me, the conversation was about 40 mins, this happened 2 times. Wanted to know more about me but I'm a terrible judge of knowing if she is just being friendly or if she is interested romantically

Right now we are texting and I told her a situation that I'm in thats personal and she said that "whatever situation your in, I'm all ears" she has been replying slowly the past 2 days (under a day), but yesterday she sent me 24 separate messages.

people are like girls are always are on thier phones but she responds on the group chat to people but replies to me later.

I asked her out on a date over phone and she said she was thinking of bowling but she used the famous "I'll let you know" so that's out me on edge, she is also doing masters right now which might take her time. Any thoughts?

If she's texting you so much she most likely sees you as a friend -- unless it's explicitly "sassy" (sexy) messaging.

Most likely, but it could go somewhere, or she might be slightly interested and taking her time which I'm fine with

"Taking your time" is fine, agreed, but then it wouldn't be 24 texts flooding your inbox. It would he one or two texts... "a taste" to draw you in. Think of it like a game of chess. You write to her... she writes back. She doesn't just pick up all her pawns and toss them at you as if you were goofing off at a paintball range.

I think I just pushed that up within the context of the situation I said she wanted to know. Normally it's not that, and I get like 4 to 5 texts a day, unless we are meeting up. That was a bad example. This is just a one off, I'm seeing her on Friday and Sunday

As in like replies 4 to 5 times a day. Not just 4 to 5 separate texts😂

Aha... ok. The description sounded like she had nothing to do and was just texting her bestie... And though it was a one-off it could still be indicative of a more friendly connection.

4-5 five texts within a day is ok. Personally if it's someone who's a romantic interest I tend to pick the phone up and make a call rather than to keep texting. You want to hear the person's voice more and chat. It's sensory engagement that builds the sense of intimacy and brings folks closer. (At least in my generation. I get that folks in their 20s are phone-shy and prefer to text.)

Regarding your situation, I guess wait and see. I'd say it could go either way.

Yeah, sorry I made the description in a rush. Yeah we send voice notes to each other on occasion and she wanted to call me twice, the call was 40 mins each time. Yeah I think if I just wait it out I think it should be calm

Again, a girl chatting a guy up doesn’t always indicate a romantic interest. I chat guys up all the time for work etc bc it’s my job or bc I’m at a function and the guy is “silent awkward fellow at the party” without a clue how to blend in…
