Should I text him?

I met this amazing guy online. We’ve met once. We text morning throughout the day til night. Call each other whenever we can, video call, exchange steamy snaps and texts. We’ve had communication challenges being long distance but we always try to fix it and most of the time it’s great. Communication is good. He sends me gifts, sent me flowers etc. we had a hot argument a week ago and I felt like he did make the effort to call a couple times and I ignored him and continue texting. He said he does more than I do, I got triggered and I pretty much said I was gonna give him back all his gifts, he was upset. I haven’t heard back. Should I text him?

You are long distance and you know there will be nothing positive coming out of a long distance relationship. It is time to slowly take your distance from him.

There is no need to text or call him. It will not really help. The next fight is already lurking on the horizon. It is extremely difficult to make a long distance relationship work and spending your entire day behind a screen with the communication ping pong game is not a solution.

No need to send the gifts back, that would not change anything anyway. If you can't understand each other on a long distance basis, imagine what it would be if you were living in the same city.

Are you ready to talk to him yet? If so, reach out and let him know. Worse that could happen is he’ll end it, but at least you’ll know. And you’ll have the opportunity to end it nicely. But if he wants to talk, you’ll have opened communication again which is a good thing. But if he’s tried calling he’s obviously ready to talk again, so go for it.

You certainly should be reaching out and you should be apologising , as the split was your fault. Call him immediately , dont SMS.
