I, 23M, got ghosted two weeks ago by a girl, 22F, I go to school with. I made her laugh all the time, and we talked during and after our bio class. She also had given body language signs she liked me, so l said screw it and asked her out. She hearted the message and said she would but was working so i said no problem. then she said we would set up a date. I responded with a follow-up date to which she replied she would be with family that day. I finally said F it and said, Let me know what works for you. She never responded again after that. She had viewed my story once since then, but the rest she has ignored.
I'm looking for some guidance.
1) I know she doesn't like me romantically, but why say yes then ghost. Especially when we had fun together?
2) Should I block her, or does that make me look emotional?

People who ghost people are for one thing cowards and for two they aren’t people who can make genuine connections. They aren’t able to just tell you when they start loosing interest especially because they want to keep someone on the back burner if nothing else works out.
Tell her that you understand if she’s busy you don’t expect a immediate response. But if she isn’t interested in going then just say so… Tell her that you don’t appreciate being ignored and that you wish her well. But you think it’s better for us both to find someone who will show mutual interest. Leave it at that….
Like I said people ghost because they’re cowards. They want someone on the back burner. They won’t tell people when they loose interest or anything else. When someone isn’t even going to talk to you just move on. Like I said being busy is understandable but not ignoring someone.
All these modern trendy terms like “ghosted” and “friend zone” are hilarious.
A much better word is cowardly ignoring someone. But at the same time sone people think texting someone at THREE IN THE MORNING and not getting a immediate response for something that’s not a emergency is ghosting.
Friend zoning… It just means you’re friends lol.
