Should men be closer to their mum or wife?

You often hear how women don’t like it when a man they want to date is really close to their mum. Mamas boys. I’m super close and attached to my mum.

Girlfriends and wives could snake you but mothers don’t. So I pick mum. She would never ever not have my best interests at heart. I could give her all my money trust her with anything. Mothers are the only queens 👑

By closer I mean - more trusting and loyal/caring

Well I can tell you this I moved out of my mom's house when I was 16 and a half would see her on Christmas or Thanksgiving dinners that either she would have or my aunt would have other than that no really you know communication not unless I was just run into her

Her birthday is I would send her a card or I would get a cake and take it to her some flowers either to her job or at her home

If anybody ever gave my mom a hard time I would make sure they would never do it again

And probably about 4 years ago probably $5 now my mom was living with my sister she has full-blown dementia my nephew and my sister were arguing all the time my nephew started threatening my mom and my sister my mom called me up said please pick me up I asked what was wrong she said please just pick me up I said okay got her out into my car said what's wrong she explained it to me and she wanted me to take her any place to find a place to live so I took her to my house because that's the last thing in the world I could do to leave her someplace with dementia I would never do that I never thought in a million years I'd have her move in with me either

Trying to take care of somebody they can't remember something is hard trying to take care of somebody that can't take care of themselves is hard trying to take care of your mother when she has a daughter that could do so that she's not willing to even help is hard.

My sister called me a mama's boy and I smiled I said thank you I wouldn't give a f*** what anybody called me my mother gave me 16 and a half years of her life raised me for 16 and a half years. She divorced my dad when I was one she divorced the next guy my brother and sisters dad when I was 10 . From 10 to 15 she raised three kids the best she could.
From 15 to 16 and a half she got married again and the guy was taken from her using her like I could see it and one day he threatened me and my second dad used to beat the f*** out of me with a belt and I swear to my mom that nobody would ever touch me or hurt me again so the day that he tried I put him up against the wall and I told him never touch me again blah blah blah I turned around and my mom was standing right there with tears in her eyes she knew what had happened and I walked by her and I said I'm sorry but I told you nobody would ever touch me again anyway her new husband called me and mama's boy and I just turned around and I smile and I wanted to say a few things to him but I didn't because I didn't want to upset my mom anymore but like I said I could care less what anybody ever called me somebody wanted to call me mama's boy I would just say thank you your mom's job is very very hard my mom's job and they have kids is even harder cuz they have to raise them

I hadn't been in touch with my mom like probably I should have been growing up so once she moved in with me we got to know each other and before she passed she called me into her room and she said I just want to tell you you're nothing like I thought or that I have been told you are a good man you turned out to be the greatest the nicest man I have ever met and I just said Thank you and I turned around and I walked out

If you're going to let names hurt you or if somebody calls you a name and you let it affect you then you got bigger problems than whatever it is that they called you

No I don't know about all women but I do know that a smart woman wants to know how you and your mom get along how do you treat her because the way you treat her is the same way you're going to treat your girlfriend or your wife so if somebody's calling you a mama's boy say thank you it's just words and there's nothing wrong with being a mama's boy if that's what you are not unless you depend on your mom for everything then you need to snap out of that one because you're supposed to be on your own you're supposed to be helping your mom out at the age that you are right now words are just words they mean nothing except for form of communication to either make somebody happy or sad in one form or another somebody's might call me an asshole . And I'll look at them with an irritated look on my face stop my feet jump up and down and say I am too an a******...

But if you let words define you from other people or what other people say to you and you allow it to define you or hurt you the reason why it hurts is because it's probably true the reason why it defines you is because you don't know who you are so find out who you are love yourself love your mother love everybody but don't let words from other people manipulate you or make a projection of who you are you're the only one that knows who you are and just be that person in life we all got a gift when we were born that gift is choice we get to choose who we want to be in life by the things that we say and do. Choose who you want to be in life love yourself be the best you can be and f*** everybody else if they have an opinion that's not true
I. And if they have an opinion that is true thank them don't let it go to your head and just keep going forward not a big deal man

If somebody's judging you or calling you a name it's because they're trying to hurt you for whatever reason if it's true you're going to get pissed off and throw a fit because nobody likes the truth right

But if it's not true just smile and walk away same thing if it is true smile and walk away don't engage with people the judge or drama ties you because they're trying to take you down to their level of hurt anger pain whatever now I'll call your mom and tell her you love her before she's passes away and you don't have that chance

It depends but I would say wife just as a woman should be closer to her husband. Not saying your family isn’t important but when you’re moving in together it is.

You have to find a good woman it takes time. A woman who isn’t going to break your heart. Cheat on you. Do things like that and she has to know you won’t either.

Have standards. Don’t put up with bullshit break up…. If you can’t trust someone they aren’t worth being witn.

Mum > Girlfriend but Wife > Mom.

I'm married and it doesn't make me love my mum less but now that I am married my wife is now my inner family and my mum has now became my extended family. Same thing for my wife, her mother is now her extended family.

If you don't prioritize your new inner family over your old inner family, family troubles emerge.

Generally, you don't have to put your trust in your mom because she doesn't need it. You should listen to her, and it's important to take her feelings into consideration, but it's your life.
