Guys, would you agree to a coffee date if you weren't interested?

I. If it's a friend and they want to go out and have coffee or something sure I would do that just because I'm that type of guy and I'm a friend but it doesn't have to be anything else involved... But I would also know just by the way that I was asked if the intention is deeper than that then of course I would go and have coffee but then spontaneously would have to go do something else too

Why not just decline the invitation in the first place if you feel that the feelings aren't mutual?

Most likely not. There’s no reason. I don’t want to hurt her feelings by going on this date making her think there’s a chance of something happening. I know it’s going to hurt her by me telling her I’m not interested, but it would be even worse going on a date w her then to tell her this.
