Would a guy accept a date with you if he wasn’t interested?

I asked a guy out on a date, he said yes. I had already given him a suggestion of what we would be doing and on what date (needed to buy tickets).

But if he had no interest, would he have accepted? And would the interest always be romantic or could it be platonic? I didn’t specifically call it a “date” - I just asked him if he’d like to do ‘x’ on a specific date and suggested we could grab some food too.

Yes. A guy can accept a date without having interest in you for three reasons. 1) he’s hoping for casual sex. 2) he didn’t properly realise it was a date. 3) he knows it’s a date but thinks it might be an opportunity to get to know you better. Either way a date is a date. And if you didn’t make it clear say at the end, “thanks for today, I had a really good date.” Observe his reaction and that should give you moreover an indication on whether or not he’s interested. Hopefully he is, but if not, remember there are plenty of fishes in the sea 😁

Yes men can go on a date with you if there not interested, for me it’s usually because I hadn’t thought about that person in a romantic was and would like to see if there is chemistry and potential for a relationship, but other man can do it for various reasons.

I wouldn't accept if I wasn't interested in doing something with you, but I would be willing to accept regardless of whether the interest was romantic or platonic, so I don't think you can draw any conclusions about that just because he accepts.

No.. We don't do that. We might fuck you if we're not interested, but dating is a different story.
