Would a guy reply back if he wasn't interested?

Question

I asked this guy when he's going to take me out on a date and he replies by saying "when are you asking me out". I have told him that I like him and he said it back to me. But I'm still not sure what is wrong. I'm 23 and he's a couple of years older. He's always busy with work and it takes him like 2 days to reply back to a text. I seemed to be interested in me but now I'm not sure...

We've been texting back and forth but nothing is really happening.

If a guy isn't interested, he would never reply in the first place?

i have boys who are interested in me, and they will text me sometimes and I won't reply, sometimes because I'm busy or I just don't feel like talking to them at that point. so, the text day or something if I feel like replying or in the mood to talk, I'll reply. if I was truly interestedin them as much as they were interested in me, I would be so hapy that they texted me and text them right back, like I do the boy's I am actually truly interested in. I text them back most of the time to be nice. but I don't put fourth 100% effort to kee the convo going.

I think he is interested in you and you shouldn't wait for him to ask you out. You should ask him out.

Well I would to add one more thing..I don't think he is so bright to add that question but I think he is playing with you. I'm serious ask him to go hang out and if he agrees then you're game.
