Do your filtering as you would with any man. Get to know them slowly. Don't mention your child/children initially. Find out as much as you can about someone talking/texting/emailing to this person before meeting them for a date.

Remember, they're filtering YOU too. If you've had a successful two dates.. reveal that you have a child/children, but you're not introducing them to anyone you date until "later." The "later" is up to you... I understand you want to be careful about who you introduce your children to, especially if they're young.

Maybe he's not keen on meeting someone's children initially. The dating is about you two. And it should ONLY be about you two for awhile

Unless you're becoming serious about a long-term relationship, the only issue that should matter about your children should be whether you have enough time to date someone, and whether you can get child care for dates.

You can certainly introduce your children to someone who is deemed a boyfriend after a few months if you're going out on day dates or you come home early enough for him to meet them.

But inviting him over for dinner with your children would be a BIG step, no matter what age they are and especially if they have a good relationship with their father. Could be complicated.

Worry about you two and how that works out first. There might be nothing for your children to know. Tell your children you're dating to meet new people. If they ask if someone is a boyfriend tell them where you are in the dating arena. Maybe, yes or no. THEN you can bring up meeting someone casually. Nothing wrong with that.

But you do have to get ducks in a row on BOTH sides. Don't advertise that you have children. Could invite creeps. After a few successful dates, tell the person to find out if children are a no-go for them. Then continue dating to see if there's a possibility with this particular man. Then it's the time to intro both sides more formally. Good luck!

A guy you have a good trust with that you know will accept your child equally like he accepts you, it shouldn't be motivating to realize they are only wanting you and excluding your child, for it to be healthy he has to be accepting of both, it's a bundle, also you gotta make sure the guy isn't in it for the quick hookups, I can only imagine single women are used for such things simply cause single moms tend to easily let their guard down because they eagerly want to experience a relationship again or romance so they become easy targets to manipulation or other techniques pussy goblins tend to use, I don't think you can go wrong by taking things at a affordable pace, meaning a pace you can see infront of you where you are going before arriving if that makes sense.

Well it depends and what kind of guys are going to be giving you a chance depends on your situation.

I think if you’re looking for a genuine connection seek someone whose willing to do the same thing. Are they someone who would potentially make a good father figure? Are they someone who wants a genuine connection? And the list goes on.

As a mom your number one priority should be your baby. If you don’t feel you’re in a place where you’re able to build a genuine connection with someone else then maybe you should wait. You also shouldn’t be running around with a ton of men. It’s not just about you anymore and I assume you understand that.
