I normally keep my private life very private.
But last year I matched with an absolute bombshell on an app.
So I broke the rule and told a few friends even showed pictures.
The date comes and she’s not even remotely close to what her pictures showed
So we’re having a drink and she goes to the restroom. I check my phone and all my friends are eager for updates so I answer with
“We’ve been tricked, we’ve been backstabbed and we’ve been, quite possibly, bamboozled”
We still laugh about it to this day.
The date ended without incident, and I later ended it via text message saying it was nice but I don’t think it will work.
So all and all it wasn’t a sad day just a comedic situation
Luckily I've never been catfished but if I was, I'd immediately leave. Lying is the worst first impression and start to a date. The truth is when I was on dating apps, I had older pictures of myself (like 6 years old photos because I don't really take a lot of decent photos of myself), but they still look like me as I haven't gained or lost weight. My hairline and facial structure looks the same as well. No one has told me I've catfished them to date.
Not sure about guys but I'd just walk away and instantly block them or ghost! 👻
They can stress over why I did not show! They never realize it's cause they are fake!
4 guys tried this all hated me cause I did not show. Would never mention they cat fished!
Once a girl did this but she said sorry she tried to catfished...
If you didn't show how did you find out you were being catfished? And how were you catfished? Were they just not the person at all or did they post a picture of themselves that was deceiving?
I'd show up but not talk to them. Have a friend go in and look for them without me.
Guys love to us wild photos!
Omg 🤣🤣. You need to do a mytake on that
Thanks maybe I will! Often helps and my sister is happy to help.
remind me of this movie "the hustle" 🔥

I feel like when it comes to "faking it", it usually comes to body appearance, not makeup and clothes, but I could be wrong. How would you feel if some guy said he was "tall" online, or had a picture of a guy who was tall, you agreed to meet, but then found out he was actually shorter than you. He was likely just trying to see if you're truly shallow or not.
Lots of guys will pretend to be poor too, to see how she reacts, then tells her he's actually filthy rich
Dating apps don't work anyway. Most are money scams
A relationship that begins with a lie, will be filled with lies. If they were not so unattractive that I couldn't do it, I'd pump and dump if possible. Call it a fair exchange of shitty behaviour! ;)
finish the date and then never meet her again. cause i already set aside the time. so might as well try and make the best of it. i'm not gonna let her bs ruin my day but i'm not gonna be fooled twice.
I will pull up those photos and tell her that I don't like being deceived. I know looks are not everything, but honesty is. I will have to walk away after that.
Sorry, you aren't who I was expecting. This isn't going to work. Best wishes.
Get through the date and then cut off all contact.
Wouldn't happen. That's what video calls are for.
Walk away
move on
