Why does a guy tell me about his life?

My crush updates me about his life (without me even asking, which is weird in my opinion cause he's secretive). He updated me he moved out the house BUT doesn't mention he had done it with his girlfriend!!! WHY (I repeat he's super secretive and barely tells anyone anything) (we're not besties)

He just feels comfortable with me

He likes me and wants me to know how he's doing

So weird for him to still be your crush or your still trying to look for signs that he likes you when you know he has a girlfriend. Do you just pretend she doesn’t exist and he’s available or hold on to hope that he’ll leave her for you one day?

I'm not holding onto anything, he's the one who acts weird. I barely see him anyways and his gal cheated on him multipule times in the past and probably does now so he's super shady to me

Dude, if you don’t talk to him about these things then how would he know you interpret his behavior as weird? From an unbiased perspective when I read this I didn’t understand the issue with him updating you about his life anyway or why you’d need to be best buds for him to mention those things. I think you’ve created such a stigma around men that in your world it’s weird when guys do things that you most likely wouldn’t find weird if it were a woman.
