I usually exchange something so we can easily contact each other and if things progress or if she's geek minded progress that to a secure chat platform where we can talk freely. The majority of the online communication with my ex for example were over heavily encrypted chat. Neither of us did other social media's so there wasn't much to exchange.

I don't have anything to hide from my (future) partners but I also don't enjoy traditional social media. So if she wanted my youtube account and steam she can have that but thats all I use.

It's more of a red flag to have social media in the first place, if you ask me. I don't have any social media accounts tied to my real identity because it gets so badly misused. If you're using your real identity you can't tell the truth if you don't agree with the popular opinions of the majority, and employers will use it to spy on you.

It’s kinda hard not to have social media in certain fields these days. Especially if you are in a creative field of some sort
