How do you get over someone you didn’t even date?

Well your question made me smile because I've been there before. Didn't make me a little bit sad cuz I remember how I felt..

But she had a boyfriend and. At first I didn't know that and then I saw her one day with him. Kind of broke my heart a little bit

And then one day out of the blue somebody tapped me on the back of my shoulder and I turned around and it was her and she said hi Steve and I said hi Stacy she had a big smile on her face and she said I hear you have a crush on me and I said what

But I don't think I just said what I think I said wa wa Wawa a what lol
And she put her hand on my shoulder and she said don't be nervous and she's started laughing

And I think I said. Na nana no. I. Im a not . and we both started laughing.
And she said well do you and I see her boyfriend walking towards us and I said no no no no I don't and he walked up right then and he said something are you ready and she goes yeah and she gave me a big hug. . and he's standing right there behind her and she goes I'm going to miss you cuz you know my brother right and I looked at her and I said what cuz she had a little brother but I guess he had a growing spurt or something she said yeah they were getting ready to move to California next weekend. We talked to a few more minutes and she's getting ready to go I said wait a minute how did you know that I. Like you and she said Daryl told me there was a good friend of mine

But anyway she left we said bye. And for the next week or so I thought about it and I realized that no matter what there are people that come in and out of our lives all the time

And if they're good people we're going to learn something from them and if they're bad people we're going to learn something from them but no matter who it is you have to realize something that or let me put it this way I had to realize something

And that feeling of liking her it came from the inside of me every feeling that I've ever had every feeling you ever had it comes from the inside of you nobody can give you that feeling except for you because you're the only person on the inside people just open that doors for you and allow you to see new things coming from yourself so that makes you feel certain things it's called love you found something that opened up that door inside of you and made you made you feel something inside they just opened up that door to allow you to feel that's it so you have to understand how special we are as people

And you have to think him or you have to realize that it was you that felt that inside of you and that's actually a beautiful thing I mean it's just like when something happens and you feel that pain inside of you somebody opened up that door and it hurt you and you allowed yourself to feel that pain and you have to let it go and it's the same thing when it's something beautiful and something you love or something you like you know you have to understand who you truly are and love yourself for allowing yourself to fill those emotions those beautiful things and negative things really can't have one without the other but things like this you don't need to get over it because it's you you're you don't want to get over yourself you are feeling something for him but it's coming from you so that's just you growing and loving yourself more really I don't know I said it how it is or if you even understood what I said I hope you did because you're going to go through a lot more of this it's part of growing up and just accept it as and thank God that this guy came into your life somehow and thank yourself for allowing yourself to look so deep it opened up doors inside of you so you could feel something it is truly who you are I actually think it's a beautiful thing and I think it even goes deeper than this but I don't want to get into that and confuse you even more because even I'm confused right now LOL

Not really that but I just hope that you could understand what I was saying because sometimes I don't even understand what I'm saying but I do just love yourself and know and understand you know exactly what you're looking for in life and it's going to happen if you keep thinking it it will happen we become our thoughts we are our thoughts positive or negative so always think positive and love yourself it will go away cuz there's something else that will take its place just a moment in time that's all and after this moment another one will come

Stop thinking about them. It's a matter of mental and emotional control, a learned skill. :)

Realize that if you HAD dated, it could have been a disaster. Maybe you would have wished that you’d never even met the person. Understand that your thoughts and feelings about the person were only a fantasy and maybe the person is actually very different than what you’d thought.
