I think I was 13. It was definitely memorable because I still have a vivid memory of it to this day. It was in front of her house which was on a nice private beach on the ocean. The sun was just setting and the romance level was through the roof. My family has a house there too. It was a real relationship but an immature one... not the kind that lasts.

The interesting thing is that I have not seen or spoken to her since we were maybe 14 or 15 at the most. Never thought about it much but remembered that kiss.

Around a year or so ago I got a text from a family member that was staying at the house which is still in my family. He was outside and he said that that girl was taking a walk, had stopped by the house and was asking if I was there. That kiss was 57 years ago and apparently she didn't forget it either! She asked him for my phone number and we texted a few times, but I didn't continue it because she is married and I don't feel comfortable about that.

Turns out her parents died and she inherited their beach house. They remolded it and she lives there with her husband. It isn't too far from where I live now... same area. But I don't want to see her because it's too nuclear charged.
