What is the scientific reason why men are attracted to women and women are attracted to men?

That's an interesting question. I've never thought about it. Scientists will tell you it's Dopamine, Serotonin, and norepinephrine. Are hormones that drive our attraction. Because our brains are chemically lying to us. We feel an attachment to someone rhat when you come right down to it makes no logical sense. So why does do it gender specifically typically.

Well attraction in my opinion is on a wide spectrum... not all women are attracted to men and vice versa. However in general many of us are wired that way probably to perpetuate the species.

It is a combination of biological, psychological, and social factors. You should have figured this out by now.

Hormones to Dna is the majority factor. We are designed to follow it as to us deep down it makes us think that one will produce a healthy child with good genes.

Humans and even other animals are complex enough however to avoid that primial sense. But that's what drives us. We aren't different to Bactira to how it evolves, to adapt and create a better version of it's self.
And the idea is by a selective amount of signs we can figure out what will make us have that, which is why we are drawn to good genes.
