I sent my boyfriend a picture and he overreacted?

I've been with my boyfriend less than 6 months, it's still quite new but it's kind of exciting... he's very handsome and adventurous, but gentle and sweet.

However, recently I was texting him about my day, and sent him a photo of my new haircut, which he loved, my manicure, which he also said looked great, but I sent him a photo of my pedicure, and he removed the image from the chat and said "please, NEVER EVER send me a picture of feet, ever" with a vomit emoji

When I got over the shock I asked him why, and he said he really hates feet (which explains why I never get foot rubs), and he doesn't even want to look at them. I told him to grow up and get over such a childish hatred, and he told me it's not childish, he's always been that way, so I told him "whatever" and now he hasn't contacted me in two days.

I think he's being childish and overreacting, any thoughts?

You're the one who needs to grow up.

A LOT of people - myself included - dislike feet.

Everyone has something they dislike, and in his case, it's feet. You need to accept this or break up, because it's just who he is and you need to respect that.

He has a phobia. It’s not something that a person can choose to just “get over”. That was very insensitive for you to say.
