What are some reasons guys might want you to chase or lead the relationship?

I don't know what you mean by 'chase', and I especially don't know what you mean by 'lead'. I can only answer for myself but the only reason I wouldn't want you to pursue me is if I didn't like you, and I'd be quick to say yes if I did like you. As for 'lead', well if that means I don't have to do all the work of planning dates and such, I'm up for that, but if it means you bossing me around and controlling me then I'm not into that... Can't tell what you mean without more information though. :)

Well it depends what you mean by "chase or lead". I don't expect a woman to chase or lead me. But that's probably what a fair amount of them think. Because I virtually never approach women. And a woman has to put forth a good amount of effort for me to take them serious.

And to me it's pretty simple. I've done my share. I've put myself out there. And one thing I've learned about women over the years is putting yourself out there is a fruitless endeavor. The women that truly want to know you will approach you. I know this post will make some women angry but it's kind of true. Guys are waking up to the fact that they are wasting their time chasing women. Because the women that know what they want WILL come to him.

Men want to feel wanted just as much as women do so they want women to show some effort by pursuing them as well instead of it being one sided.

They're tired of putting in insane amounts of effort for women who don't lift a finger and skip out at the first sign of a possible problem.

And I think it's important to point out just how common that kind of thing is with women. It is super super super common for women to go out of their ways to blatantly disregard and resent men for expressing interest. So few women show the slightest appreciation for the effort men put in, so men have lost interest in putting in that effort.
