What are some fun date ideas?

For my girlfriend's (now wife's) birthday the first year we were dating, I got us tickets to this event at a local Spanish restaurant. The owner taught us and a few other people the history of paella and then taught us how to make a real Spanish paella while we drank sangria and then we all got to eat it and take home our own paella kits with the pan, rice, sweet paprika, etc. We had a lot of fun and it was definitely one of the best dates I was able to pull off.
Amusement park, arcade, movie night, bowling, a nice walk through the park, going to the mall / shopping, nice restaurant meal.
Though fun is what you make it, whether planetarium, museum, library, stargazing, birdwatching, romantic dinner for two, biking, ice skating, skateboarding, axe throwing, darts, tennis, etc.
*Surfing / bodyboarding is also good, just to include multiple ideas. Going to the aquarium, playing video games together on the couch, see? So many ideas!
Depends on whether it's a first date, or something to do together when you're already in the relationship.
But mini-golfing, ice skating, board games at a café, amusement parks, can all be fun things to do. It also depends what's available to you.
I would also love something like, painting ceramics. go to the movies (if it's a long term relationship,) stuff like that.
Painting something might be cool, thanks
Walk and shopping downtown; going to a park on a nice day for a walk and sight seeing; try out a new coffee place or restaurant
I usually wouldn’t do anything overly social - like going to a bar, or to a packed theater for a show as it limits your ability to see if there is a connection and vibe
Thanks for the suggestions.
Shopping, seriously?
@KrakenAttackin window shopping more or less
@satinpetals
Your suggestions sound good except for shopping. Most men will be bored with that, but it might be a good idea if she knows he's one of the exceptions that like shopping! :)
@AnonAndrew She will want him to buy her something.

I think a simple board game at a games cafe would be a great date.
boyfriend and I love to go to museums, walks around parks, new coffee spots, and theme parks.
Museum, amusement park, hide n seek, ice skating, forest camp, cafe meeting, library, walking, visiting the orphanage etc
That couple are too old / catching up for lost time.
They should go to a museum instead hahaha evil me 😭😞
Amusements are for 20s prime couples 🥰 not those breaching almost 40 lol 😆
My wife and I went and made rings at a blacksmith, that was pretty cool. We also did glass blowing and made a vase together. Every year for our anniversary we try some experience like that.
It really depends on the people and if it is a first date. For example, I love hiking, but I would not feel comfortable asking a girl I just met to go for a hike all alone in the middle of nowhere with me.
It depends upon the couple. I love Catalina, whale watching, museums, but some would hate those.
We don't have whales where I live, but there is a free ferry that we've seen dolphins passing by.
Go bowling, or the park if it's a nice day followed by a drink.
Maybe crazy golf or if you like sport, badminton or pickleball.
I took her fishing. When she did not need me to bait her hook I knew i found a keeper.
Crazy golf. Really want to go but don't have any one to go with.
What is crazy golf?
I have a bucket list of things I would like to do but no one to do them with.
Take your date to the local fair go on some rides hopefully they have some good roller coasters. It’s always fun and to eat the food
Something inexpensive specifically to identify gold diggers.
Amusement parks (Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Knotts, Seaworld, etc.) are definitely fun if you can afford them.
Any museum, the observatory, whale watching. An imax movie, the zoo.

Putt-putt golf, laser tag. Day at the beach.
Aquariums ice skating if it is winter where you are or flea markets
