Married, older guy from my university wants to go out with me. What does he want?

So I'm 20 and I study medicine, 1st year, and there's a guy in my year who is 34 and studied something different before. He has a wife (who is a doctor) but he sent me a friend request recently and texted me out of the blue. He's been texting me regularly since then. He also invited me to a wine bar, a fancy one, and said that he's the one inviting so he's paying. He also called me 'kitty' a few times. I don't get it - he has a wife. Maybe they split up? He didn't even bring that up that he has a wife. I also bet he never even saw me at uni.

What does he want? I mean why would he do that? And what should I do?

And then you have to be able to read him and hear what he's actually saying to you because I can guarantee you there's going to be some lies that are going to start coming up because you already open that door and let him text you and talk to you everyday so he thinks that you're into him as much as he's into you I mean I can't tell you what to do only you can do that

I personally knowing that somebody's married I couldn't go out with him there's no way in the world I wouldn't be talking to him probably the way that you're talking to him or you know whatever just because I would know where it's headed what he wants and I would be saying sorry bro but keep moving I don't need drama in my life and that's what he will end up bringing you plus a lot more things I mean you sound like you're a wonderful person with a good heart and I think you probably deserve a little bit better than that

Either this is fake or you're super naive and bored. Common sense answers your question. Not sure why you're playing Nancy Drew instead of studying. You literally there to learn not to play P. I. for a married couple. Block him and move on. Anything else you're just being toxic and looking for unnecessary distractions at uni.

What does he want? He wants an affair. He wants s3x because he isn’t getting it at home. He wants to use you for his own pleasure. This is what married men do, they pretend they’re interested till they get you in bed then they act like they don’t care because they go back to their wife every time.
