Dating a older guy in college?

Thinking about going back to college next year. I was wondering would girls that are either in college or when they were in college around the age of 18-20 would consider dating someone either 4-6 years older? Guys can answer whether or not this has happened to them in college.

At 23 you won't be an 'old guy' going back to college. Girls will see that you a bit more mature then most of the group, but if your goal of going back to college is to get a girlfriend than you may want to reconsider.

Also with COIVD a lot of classes are going to be virtual so you won't be meeting as many girls as you may think.

Also don't take engineering if you want to meet girls.

I'm hoping that next year colleges will be somewhat back to normal. No im not going to college for a girlfriend. I was just curious if they would even try. I said older guy not old guy. Most people who will be at the college will be younger

Its a 2 year college. All the degrees are associate or certificate

Fair enough I'm going back right now and am entering my 3rd year (out of 3).

Honestly the time has flown by and for me career wise it was a great decision and I have had two great summer job experiences.

I'd say only about half of the people (form my program) were 18 at the start and straight out of high-school. I'm also taking civil engineering, there 2 women out of 41 students..

What program were you considering?

Atm just mathematics but might go into something to do with computers after mathematics

Right on follow your guts. If you have a job/career field that you can't see yourself working in for the next 30 years then go back. Its a hell of a lot easier to go back to school before you do become the 'old guy'.

I'm not sure much about career options when it comes to straight math degrees but it could be a good stepping stone into tougher 'computer science' degrees as well.

It more so because I've always been good at math and I don't know what I want to do for a career

Yeah finding what you want to do can be a challenge. Find some time to look at career building websites and narrow your list of what you could see yourself doing to your top 5 or so.

Also ill be dorming. Im not sure how some people will act when I move in at my age. I know my age is not that old but I think it could be since its a 2 year college

You're not that much older, dude. I was 24 when I first went to college. I think it's less of a deal than we make it out to be in our minds.

However, I will say this: you make better grades if you ignore the chicks.

Well i haven't been respected by girls since I was in middle school. High-school just terrible. I have no irl friends. All my friends atm are online.

They will respect you if you walk in there like you own the place. Just conquer the campus. It's honestly not that hard. I did it, and I'm not even that cool.

My first year in college i was 18 and went on a date with a guy who was 24. Liked him a lot he was smart funny and very kind. Had one class with him. We didn't keep dating though.

I've met many girls between 18-20 dating guys who were 23-27. Then there's the girls "dating" guys in their 40s. You will be fine at 23.
