There are very few flat out "ugly" people. Odds are greater that you don't maximize your potential, put yourself in the best light, or put yourself out there enough.

Trust me man. I'm not a handsome man. I'm invisible to women when I don't apply myself (as most guys are). That doesn't mean you have to walk up and talk to every woman you see. The majority of women I talk to approach me. But I go where the women are in those times also. I also put myself in a good light for them to WANT to approach me.
