Trending & News Have you ever been in a relationship or dated someone and looked at the situation and thought "this basically the plot to..."?

Yes , on multiple occasions really , where it looked like it couldn't work , she hated me ( misunderstanding ) then became more involved than any other.. etc etc..
But , I'm a guy who loves Rom Coms , more than any other guy I have met anyhow..
I even liked " Suddenly 30 " which is a lame admission , just an old romantic.
Love Actually "the way Knightley is so shook and shocked, yet not appalled or creeped out yet just "but you never talked to me, you don't like me" and she's like buyers remorse of never putting in a buy lol.
And to top it all, she could've bonded over sweets candy "I bought you something 🍩 remember that line" lol 💓 😆
I've had moments in each of my 3.5 relationships that qualify as "rom-com" moments. I either bring it out in the guy OR just attract the same type of guy. I don't know for sure. Makes me smile from time to time when I look back.
Only and I didn’t realize until after but I always romanticize my life/ relationships like that even if it for a short period time

First kiss on new year
She wanted to walk away from me at midnight so I grabbed her wrist and pulled her in close and we kiss under the fireworks
Closest thing to a movie scene I can think of
Nope. Never. Not even close.
Good. Based on the availabile stock, it's got "terrible idea" written all over it.
(500) Days of Summer if you count it.
There was also another one similar to The Wedding Date but that was short lived
I had a date that was like the start of a romcom but I ended it there because I could see the drama on the horizon and just couldn’t.
No. Is relationship horror a genre?
These days, it certainly seems so.
I've had a couple of those experiences. It sure as hell wasn't a rom com though. That would imply it was funny.
If I did, I probably would have left it, seeing as those stories, while humorous, are usually based on people with significant character flaws and questionable judgement.
I have I had a no strings attached relationship with a female friend of mine then when she started dating her boyfriend we stopped and he’s ok with the fact we did that stuff.
There's a reason it's called Fiction
Fan fiction of course - everyone has their story 😂 or their idealised story 🧠 brain
(500) days of Summer. If you remove the final 15 to 20 minutes of the movie.
Sort of.
nope... not that kind of drama
I don't hate myself (C) @NathanDavis
