Have any of you ever been in a real life love triangle?

Question

Since I never dated a girl before I thankfully doesn't have to be in a situation like the dreaded love triangle but I wonder to my fellow gentlemen have you competed with another person for the affection of a crush you have? How about you ladies was there a person you find extremely attractive to the point you wind up in a situation that you need to battle it out with a foe for the person you have a crush on?

Constantly! It's all I ever get! girlfriend 1 was cheating on her hubby with me claiming she was gonna get a divorce because he beats her up. Otherwise, I would've never bothered. He found out, beat her up and she broke up with me. She finally divorced him about 5 or 10 years later and married their best friend, Scott.
Later that year, we were playing a gig in Dec. and a friend of my singer showed up with a girlfriend. who, during our first break, kissed me! I'd never met her before but, by the end of the gig, she & I were making out a good bit right in front of him! I suppose he was too stoned to say or do anything and probably forgot all about it.
girlfriend 2 JUST got married a month before her hubby left her but, in her defense, part of the reason we had a fling 2 weeks later was because she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and I had no idea that's what this was until a week after we got together. After she'd been in the hospital for a couple months, she went back to him.
8 or 9 years later, I'm at a Christmas party with a friend of mine that owned a record store. It was actually warm out, that night. I was outside for a bit and went over to talk to the wife of one of the employees at the store who was also a friend of mine. I'd never met her before that night. Before we were done talking, she started kissing me!! Eventually, they got a divorce a couple years later and he married someone else so, I can only assume their marriage was on the rocks, already, that night. He & I were still good friends until the day he died but he never said anything about me kissing her. I guess she never told him. I never saw her again, either.
girlfriend 3 told me the night we met that she was married. A month later, she owned up to the fact that, although they were still living together, she no longer considered herself married to him (although, legally, they still were) because he'd chosen to get a sex change... then reverted! Eventually, after 10 years with me, SHE started cheating on ME!! Round about this time, girlfriend 1 showed up again and started playing tonsil hockey with me! Was she still married to Scott? I have no idea! She never said!
About 10 years later, I was invited to a New Years party with 5 friends. One of which was girlfriend 2, who invited me (her hubby died a year or two before and she was now seeing their best friend). We're all just sitting around talking when, for no reason I know of (it still wasn't even close to midnight), the wife of the guy whose house we're in starts kissing me passionately while everyone else, including her hubby, sits there and watches!! Nothing more ever came of it! Maybe, some day, I'll actually get a single chick! But, I seriously doubt it! Chances are VERY slim I'll EVER get ANYONE ever again! But, what's the deal with married (or spoken for) chicks, that they all want me? Do I have a sign on my back, "Cheat here!"?

Not knowingly. The second I found out my girlfriend was cheating on me with my friend, I stopped talking to both of them. The guy did call me maybe 15 years later, trying to get free business advice. Must have huge balls. Ha ha.

When I was in middle school/HS- Torn between cheating boyfriend Dez1/friend Tyler1 but regretfully stayed with Dez1. Torn between classmates Chris/Mikey1 but one became abusive. Torn between boo Darius and his friends (my initial crushes) Andre/Brandon but chose Darius. Torn between 3 guys who turned out to be eachothers cousins Qwon/Kell/Ty2 but chose neither after two became potheads and the one became abusive. Torn between churchmates Ky/Tvo but chose Tvo. When I was in college- Torn between Nate1/Nate2 but waited too long to decide and both got gfs. Torn between Nick/James but waited too long so one got a girlfriend and other got deployed. Torn between Matt/David but waited too long and David got deployed. Torn between Nate1/Randy but Nate1 got secretly engaged. After college- Torn between Dee/Lou but chose Lou for being more straightforward. Torn between Dez2/Lou but chose Dez2 after learning Lou’s past. Torn between boyfriend Dez2/friend Dalton but stayed with Dez2. Torn between Alec/Robbie (online) but one ghosted me and I ghosted the other. Torn between JT/JP and chose JT but both turned out psycho. Torn between TL/MM and chose TL. Torn between TL/Ty3 and chose Ty3. Torn between Steve/Abdolla but one was crazy jealous and the one i chose just wanted to be friends with benefits. Torn between B/C and chose B plus I was no longer attracted to C. Torn between M/L (online) and chose M but couldnt get over L so ended up with neither. Torn between Asim/Rey/Mikey2 but two turned out crazy. I try to steer clear of love triangles now lol

Yeah, and it was kinda sad. I liked him and another girl liked him too. He was very close to me, he almost treated me like his girlfriend, until I realized he liked the other girl (he even kissed her. Apparently I was jacob and the other girl was edward HAHAH.
In the end the other girl (girl that was edward haha) got a boyfriend that was completely outside of our love triangle. Then, I thought I had a chance with the boy (bella hahaha I need to stop) but things turned worse. I decided to forget about him and we stayed single for the next years.
Being in a love triangle drains your energy a lot, not worth it

Sort of. I liked a man. We worked together. I asked him out, he turned me down. But we remained friends/friendly. One day someone else from work was hosting a party. He had a car, we arranged to go together. He said he was bringing his best friend with him. "You two should meet. You'd like each other." This is not the first time I've been told this by the man I was with, or interested in.
We did like each other, but me as friends, he as more.
This began an interesting and complex dynamic between us. It was a summer I never forgot.

My ex discovered her boyfriend had a secret wife. She competed for the guy despite the wife knowing nothing, but she still lost. Then we started dating. Then the other guy came back because it didn't work out with his wife. My ex rejected him and we got engaged. But it turns out they were seeing each other behind my back. I still won eventually, but immediately after that she discovered she was pregnant with his child so she had to go back to him (It happened so fast he doesn't even know she was about to leave him)

Unknowingly. I'm a big believer that with proper communication and negotiating and mutual agreement of terms anything is possible by so I try not to say never. Who knows sharing might have been fun or something that you should experience to know how it makes you feel. Somethings seem more exciting and fun in theory can end up a disaster in practice. What's not fun is trying to gather your senses after being blind sided by the huge Somoan guy that was thankfully big enough to not take cardio seriously. So I only had to take 15 seconds of his anger before I could get space and back away and avoid anything that was as hard as that first punch. I didn't know what was going on because I had just gotten back stateside after being overseas in the millitary for 3 years. We became friends after and he isn't that type of guy usually which is probably why my head stayed attached to my body and he didn't knock me out. She is probably causing problems in the state she moved to.

I also get limerence so I have to stay away from such situations. It could only really work for me if it's 2 girls and me but I wouldn't expect to find a girl who would enjoy that and much see it the way I see it when it comes to a 2 guys fighting for one girl.

currently there’s a little love triangle action in my threesome group that i have going on with my girlfriend and a friend. On occasion when having sex, I feel like at times we kinda fight for each other’s attention, at least I feel that way.

It's a great way to live life. I am in a bi relationship as in mfmf and we love it. We also love mfm. By living this life, it stops the cheating and hate. People frown upon it because fear of judgment from family friend and society. Why put a label on it. If it feels right then why not.
