Is it better to be someone's "type" or stand out as someone different from their past?

If you were dating someone, would you rather be their "type" and look similar to all of their exes or would you rather be the exact opposite of who they usually date or are attracted to and why?

Well for me anyway I don't like being like anybody else I'm different from everybody and I like it that way I don't want to be like everybody else or anybody else and if you knew me you would say that I was completely right

And if a girl was to happen pick me I would hope it was for that reason and she could see that which most girls that I've dated to see that and that's the reason why we date is because I'm not like any other guys that they've ever dated before it's what they tell me and I like that

It's better to be yourself. F*** thier type, and who they've dated in the past. Regardless of whether the relationship lasts a month or a lifetime. If you want it to be successful you're going to have to be your true authentic self. So you might as well start with that.

I hate the whole type thing so I'd just avoid someone all together if they had a type even if I fit it perfectly
