To the point you don't want to be attracted to anyone
1.8K opinions shared on Dating topic. I had that happen back in high school
There was this girl who was not exactly a face that brightens up the place if I can put it that way
But she was nice. So by default I was nice to her
She wasn’t used to that as it turned out and she got WAY into me even though I was genuinely being nice on principle not attraction
During senior year I had to duck her all through the promposal phase so that someone doesn’t end up setting me up with her
She ended up walking down with another girl who was her friend (similar predicament)
I felt shitty for somehow having lead her on even though it was never my intention nor did I knowingly say things that can be interpreted as flirting00 Reply

10 moIt happens to the best of people sometimes people get too attached and you never know it. For women it typically happens with random encounters as for men it tends to happen with women you already know.
It can happen where you’re friends with someone. Talk a lot…. And eventually they start getting too attached the more they talk and you never know it. Until they try something and it’s awkward

Yes! Omg a guy at work, absolutely not my type, looks like Jim carrey but on drugs and let himself go… went and told this other girl from work that I was super into him etc all because I said sorry when I accidentally splashed water on him… apparently I was being flirty when I said it😭
You can’t be nice to no one lol00 Reply

10 moPlenty. Girls tend to do that often. They assume you're into them if you give them any attention

10 moI can’t experience someone’s beliefs until they communicate them to me directly or indirectly without being some sort of mind reader.
Placing that to one side though , I don’t think I could ever have that reaction ? , seems absurd being honest. My feelings towards any woman are not affected by another random persons belief’s of me ?
Furthermore, a woman or man “believing” I’m attracted to them needn’t have anything to do with me , they can believe what tf they like … without reason or justification of their belief's it only serves to make them seem ridiculous and likely a unhinged.10 Reply 1.8K opinions shared on Dating topic. No, I am pretty straight forward and if I am not attracted to someone I can be a reverse player. Know how players know how to say the right things and do things to win a girl over? I know how to intentionally ruin my chances early on if I suspect this. Ill amplify a few subtleties that I know are not done and make her think I am not as good as she thought. That way I don't have to hurt her feelings by declining. Girls tend to be good at picking up signs of disinterest and otherwise will double down on not wanting the relationship if she was on the fence. And obviously if I do want someone the things I do on purpose would be the things i'd avoid not to scare her away.

I just make a mental note to shop elsewhere if I find a female employee uncomfortable - I just wanna mind my own business as a single man without feeling like - surely that woman ain't eyeballing me and not cause I look hot lol 😆 when I ain't

Sometimes I feel like that's my best solution, to me I meant at least for months and hopefully they'll have moved on. The downsides to being a customer, is even women thinking they can give flirty eyes.
- 10 mo
Even if it's all in my mind. Relief though. I think I'll know to shop elsewhere now :) unrelatedly
10 mo👀 👁️ 👀 👁️ this is me. And I'm just keeping to myself and sometimes I just feel, incorrectly or correctly, a vibe shift or a mood. Sometimes I'm wondering to myself "am I being checked out by a woman" or am I "just another customer".
It can be rather uncomfortable and I'm a man saying this lol. Its like, are the eyes good or eyes bad or for starters, why the eyes in the first place looking at me. I ain't someone rocking the muscle 💪🏻
Shrug.

Sometimes I think I struggle to read people. Then other times I sometimes wonder "why are they trying to read me when I'm just looking humble rather than looking like I'm a naughty man" 🤭🙃 sighs rolls eyes
- 10 mo
Sometimes I'll even just stick to my phone or just avoid people as in, I'll look at the ceiling, the windows the tv.

10 moI don't know if I've ever experienced it to the point that I don't want to be attracted to anyone. But yes I have experienced women thinking that I was attracted to them when I was definitely not. It's a cringy feeling.

Oh that's when it turns to delusion and false information smh
2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Yes and I felt quite insulted that they thought I could be. Not to the point of not wanting to be attracted or attractive to anybody else
10 Reply757 opinions shared on Dating topic. There was one gay guy but generally speaking the good side of being on the initiating side is that ones doesn't have to care about something like this.
Maybe there were some who thought that I was too shy to make a move but who cares.

@grinchytsy can you explain mystery of women who eye gaze versus later avoid any gazes where possible. Sometimes it's hard to tell who is playing with the mind versus "does she really treat me differently than others" or "oh no hold that I see she gives everyone the same dead pan expression"
- 10 mo
And if theyre even getting any eye contact for it
- 10 mo
I give everyone the death stare. So I can’t answer this. Good luck, but the wording of this makes ya seem angry. May I suggest therapy?

00 Reply Damn I was gonna joke around and say you are attracted to me and then I read the bottom part. 😂
10 ReplyAh yes the Gods gift type! Don't you know, everyone thinks their hot so that includes you obviously.

So the trick is to avoid them or if one must, tolerate them without ever being more than standard polite - aka no leading on and hope to goodness the person gets a girlfriend/boyfriend or just stops giving flirty vibes lol 😆 I feel for men in the scenarios like yours above
10 moI don't know if I'm "really" attracted to my boyfriend or not but when I see his face his throat his line I'm extremely turned on

Glad it wasn't all in my head then. Even as a man🫂, it's weird when I feel like I'm being gawked at by any woman. Any woman 👁️👁️ unblinking like and all. Sigh 😔 or "do I look that ugly" lol 😆 to the beholder I sometimes wish to just blurt out "can I help you"
- 10 mo
@Valdemort I'd rather they move on and find a real man, if they were actually into me. I just wanna continue being a fun layabouts that I am at 30, I mean look I'm still contributing to society, job, pay taxes, give to charity, however - I don't foresee nor want the white picket fence marriage with offspring
- 10 mo
So that said, fingers crossed any chicks crushing on me, past, present, future, find someone else 💘

The irony is they've got enough brain 🧠 to do the job, not much brain to take a hint "why would (she) want (him) in the first place". And even then, why then would the she in that, act disinterested or tough love
Its like everyone wants to play with minds - 10 mo
Maybe some women just like to patch on a crush on a regular, never act on it, and they pray he never finds out. Or a she if a lesbian thing
Anyways 🤔 that's the only logical can I think
