Not necessarily, id say if you want the effort make it obvious then they will have no excuse, I legit had a girl tell me like 3 days ago why I never text her first but to me she always seemed busy and I've seemed somewhat in the way, I didn't know how she felt, I send her a message first now I'm waiting on her, sometimes it's easy to overthink things, some people legit can't read interest, maybe he's one of those people

Yeah, but at the same time. If you want that person, it’s nothing to just text that person and have a regular conversation with them or see what they’re doing.

Yes it matters.. I NEVER text first anymore. Even if I like the guy a lot I will not text a guy I am not officially dating. I am not here to give ego boosts to guys who don't want to talk to me.

I understand that the person may be going through some thing or dealing with something, but at the same time you can check in say you’re OK. But if I’m always reaching out or seeing if you’re OK or trying giving you time energy. I don’t feel like you’re interested in me that much. If I’m suggesting doing stuff with my people. If I’m suggesting, I would like to go out with you on a date. And you don’t. Or you’re just saying, if I feel like it. I’m cool.

That's a good point. I was talking about an individual conversation. In that case it doesn't matter who reaches out first. But if it's a pattern of one person always reaching out? That is different. That's one person pursuing another who is not showing the same interest back
