It would have been better if you're just friends with the guy and then slept with his dad but not being his boyfriend

You cannot really expect to have a future with your boyfriend and you REALLY can't expect to have a future with his dad. The only thing that you will accomplish by telling oour boyfriend is ruining his relationship with his father (for whatever that's worth.)
