Obviously you've never ran anything close to a business then and only thinking of yourself. Most businesses don't last more than a year. They have enough to worry about without one of their employees driving away customers. That's the risk we all take with workplace romances. They happen often because of the simple effect of people being around each other more often and many long and fulfilling relationships come from them. But don't ever make the mistake of thinking a company is on your side between losing a rich customer and your relationship.
