Is having autism the ultimate turn off for women?

So I know there are other attributes that women don’t like but as I have been trying to navigate dating and I work on other things I came to realize that no matter how much I work on my physical appearance, no matter how much I try to work on my social skills none of it will matter

I donno man. There was an autistic girl on GAG a while back (haven't seen her recently). She was about 25 and she was looking for a guy with (she would call) learning disabilities as well.

She was cute as hell. She was dedicated to finding herself a good man. And she was trying. You could tell byt her posts, and we've chatted a few times. I am pretty sure it's autism she has, although she would always call it "learning disabilities".

Everytime I'd see her posts I would smile thinking... there's some dude out there who is gonna be blown away when this girl finally finds who she's looking for.

Maybe that's you dude.

Just saying... you might want to not look at what women like in a general sense too too hard. I don't know what "attributes" that women don't like which you refer to. It just makes me hope you haven't been listening to a bunch of guys tell other guys what women want.

Hopefully, you'll get some female responses that are helpful. But I know this one girl who definitely wouldn't have a problem with you having autism.

I think it also depends on how much of an impact autism has on your day-to-day. I have a friend who told me she was diagnosed as mildly autistic after I had known her for several years. She seem like anybody else to me. I can't see it affecting her dating.

Even the Elephant Man got married so no. With women it's 90% charisma that gets them. Although to keep her you would also likely need to be successful -- or at least as successful as the people in her family & social circles. It's easier if you get some kind of life success before you bother worrying about women OR you could move to a place where women think it's normal not to have much. That works too.

You could be the hottest looking man on earth, and without social skill/charm you would not be very unlikely to ever get a woman. They're just not wired like dudes are.

Being a liar is the ultimate turn off for me, so no, autism isn't going to scare me off on it's own. I'm pretty antisocial myself off the computer thanks to my anxiety to the point I'm agoraphobic. If someone can be willing to accept that, then I can accept them for their drawbacks as well for the most part.

It is a trendy catchphrase. When you are stuck for excuses, you can always drag out autism.

None of this is a trendy catchphrase my whole childhood I grew up relentlessly bullied because I was on the spectrum. I would rock on the school bus I was horribly mocked I was called slow, retarded. I was bullied so bad that kids got me expelled by creating a lie that I called a teacher a name that was in 3rd grade.

There is a theory that 100% of modern issues like this that have labels are all bs in the sense that in the old days nobody cared. You had to do whatever it took to make it in life. And as a result these issues were not as widespread. I also read a psychologist from the 1970s who said ALL mental health issues are caused by diet/nutrition. But the big drug companies didn't like that. And yet you can find a lot of studies that show nutrition makes a huge difference. And recently some kid was cured by scientists just using a vitamin. The mouse utopia experiment was done by the guy who coined the phrase autism. He said there was an explosion of autism among the subjects. So maybe social changes can influence diet and cause it indirectly that way.
