No. There's a book called the DSM-5 that sets specific criteria for an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. meeting those criteria when evaluated by a licensed mental healthcare professional would mean that person is autistic.

Autistic no, it usually just implies that you have less of a connection to your emotions, and as a result relate better to men whom often display emotions much less than women. Im not sure where the autistic comparison came in here.

It can be a sign but definitely not enough to assume. My husband had few men friends as adult or child, but he's been told he doesn't have autism.

Of course not. Quality over quantity. There are certain situations where you just cannot find quality female friends, and that's okay.

For me I never had problems socializing with other girls growing up or even women once I became an adult but with the “friends”‘I chose they always gave me a weird feeling. Like I could hang with them. Laugh and joke but something in my gut always made me believe they were being fake or like they would talk about me behind my back but I was good at playing the role. As a little girl I did cringey things to fit in like most of us did growing up. We were kids and didn’t know better but in the end my gut always turned out to be right. Any friend group I had, I count two different ones including elementary school and high-school, they always often split up into their own friend groups. I would notice and just separate myself. By my senior year in highschool I didn’t talk to anyone. I spoke in passing but I decided to not deal with the fakenss and focus on graduating. Fast forward to adulthood and now I just have trust issues. My closest friend is a 50 year old woman. I trust her. She gives good advice and she’s not messy. She has great intentions and is a beautiful person. I have attempted in my audit life to make friends with my peers but I regret it because they still act how they did in highschool.

I just can’t get with constant gossip. Talking about another woman’s wig, edges, her man (who’s not her man). Who’s sleeping with who. Secret competition and animosity. It’s all just extra.
