Is it normal for me to be this obsessed with this guy I keep talking to?

I know this guy from high school and me and him used to date/talk. These past few months him and I have been texting and last week he got annoyed at me because I was getting jealous of him being friends with this girl that we both know. He told me
"this is getting annoying, I can't do this" so l blocked him for a bit and deleted the text message convo. Then I unblocked him.

Then today I see a instagram story posted by a different girl it's of the guy that I'm talking to he's like working at a bar (I don't know the girl who posted this at all) but the guy l'm talking to hasn't been responding to my texts like literally all week.
So it's irritating so I responded to this girls story. I know that this isn't normal. And I want to get your opinion on this/ what I should do. I have feelings for this guy still. Could he just be preoccupied with school/work? In high school he used to play football and I would wait until after he was done with practice or a game to text him. and I thought it would be different in college and I thought he would start paying attention to me.. I'm not sure what's going on. If this helps him and I are 22.

An obsession is never good and yours is like something you really should look into. It is not healthy and your obsession over that guy makes you become toxic to him and anyone that is close to him.

You seem to be a very clingy person and this fact has led him to probably take his distance from you.

You should try to avoid this kind of jealousy because not only is it harming you in the long run but anyone that comes into contact with you or that remotely makes a reference to this guy. You will only achieve that people will see you as a red flag.

You may be infatuated in that person but remember that infatuation is seldom reciprocated. Take it easy and work on your obsession.
