You meet someone and early in dating they say they will take you anywhere in the world for your next date. Are you going? Where and for how long?

NO. That's not normal behavior. I'd think they are a con artist and spending other's peoples money (i. e. stolen money). Nobody says that to someone and expects a NORMAL and healthy relationship to potentially blossom. It's plain weird and eccentric. It's a bit insulting actually because the question in and of itself implies that the other person is stupid enough to consider it normal. It's sociopath stuff in my opinion. )
Wow. So I’ll mark you down as a no :D
Seems like others on here would consider it. I like to travel. If I were dating, I could see myself saying this. Nothing nefarious about it from me if I did offer it to a date. Think of it as the same risk ias hitchhiking, sometimes it doesn’t work out but it mostly does… it depends on the people involved, like all things do.
Yeah I would go as long as the ticket arrives I am packed already
Wherever they are taking me.
If it's MY choice then it's hardly a surprise. If I had to choose it would depend on how long it's for. Permanently? Somewhere in the Mediterranean or Thailand, Phillipines maybe New Zealand, Australia but for a one off then somewhere like Iceland, Antarctica, Andes Himalayas it would depend.
HOW early? Dying to go diving on Great Barrier Reef. But not with a relative stranger. I've have to feel I knew that person well enough to feel safe with them.
In this scenario, date 2 or 3. Might want to pick one a little closer and save that one. Funny you should mention, I will be in Australia next year and might go to the reef but who knows at this point. It will have been the end of a long journey through the Pacific on a cruise but we might go up there from Sydney. I don’t know how we would feel about adding yet more though but it would be something cool to see. Perhaps I will go back though for a third time and circumnavigate Australia in a cruise ship which should get to the reef for some diving.
I'd say second or third date is too early. I'd want to know them for 3 to 6 months to get a feel for them. And, frankly, I'd rather go with a friend rather than a SO I didn't know well. OR complete strangers on a paid for GBR cruise ship that holds 25 people.
I've read about these and they sound wonderful. Wonderful price too!!! Egads! Something like $10K for 10-14 days. Look up some of them.
You're fed great meals you have a divemaster to lead you around on at least two dives a day. The water is shallow so bottom time isn't a problem. Might be able to go down three times. I bet night diving is especially interesting... If you've got the bucks, I think you'd be most satisfied doing it that way..
You don't want to be tooling around with 300 other people on a cruise ship and slopping around in the water with non scuba divers or simply too many people. Do the bucket tour. No matter if you're close to the bucket or not.
Great idea! I checked some out and it looks great. My wife isn’t a diver though and I am a novice but have dove to 30 feet. I think we will look into a cruise up to the GBR after our US to Australia cruise since we will be I. Australia anyway. That would save us a trip back in which I was going to take a cruise to circumnavigate the island to see different posts but that is over a month in duration. Now I am torn. Well it is good to have options.
With the small boats there are usually divers with non divers. The scuba folks go down and the non divers stay up out of the way. If you're only on a boat with 25 30 people, this isn't a problem. There's enoough for each set to do. OR your wife could get certified!!! It only takes a few weeks at the Ymca.
Yes if I like them and delusional enough to see a future with them, I’d go to Greece😌
Hi may I know where in greece you're visiting have u seen the parthenon how is it

I'm not going anywhere. That's a good way to end up on one of those slave-labor crab-fishing boats for the rest of my life. That not a 'red flag'. It's like being choked with a red flag.
Let's go to Ireland and each have a pint of Guinness at a local pub in every county as we tour the Emerald Isle on bicycles.
I'd never accept this from anyone, not even from a friend, let alone a mere stranger I just met. It's a matter of principle. If I'm not able to pay for my own ticket and expenses, then I'm not going (or if they agreed to split the costs of the journey in half, then that works, too) Not to mention, I'd find this pretty suspicious, if someone suggested this at a first date and wonder if they have ulterior motives, or what else they might expect from me in return. No one offers free trips as a gift
But just for the purposes of this question and providing I had the money and knew the person well for quite a while, I'd love to go scuba diving, exploring the reef and the mysteries of the ocean in the Carribean, or Maldives or Bora Bora Islands (French Polynesia) or go hiking, following the lost Inca trail till the hidden Inca city of Machu Picchu. Then, I'd also love to visit Madagascar for its breathtaking landscapes, unique wildlife, lemurs, tropical rainforests, as well as Iran, for its ancient ruins of Persepolis that was the capital city of the mighty Achaemenid empire, stunning mosques and architecture (but with the political situation there, I don't see that happening anytime in the near future). India is also high on my lists, as I hold a deep appreciation of Indian culture, history and food and last but not least, Easter Island (there's something really mysterious and eerie about these statues, as if they were created by aliens)
That’s pretty cool! Are you following the lost Inca trail to Machu Picchu, or are you taking the bus up?
Also I'm curious, why was your friend disappointed with Madagascar? Was it the weather, the place itself, or maybe something like the prices? Did he say?
It’s on my list but up next is Greece Turkey, Mediterranean islands and Egypt this year. Next year is Hawaii, a slew of pacific islands, New Zealand and Australia so Machu Picchu will have to wait its turn. I won’t be walking it I don’t think. I heard they have helicopters but that a lot will then get altitude sickness.
Først I would ask of they could even afford that.
Then I would probably say I find it too soon to go on a big trip together, but we could go for a small one, still in the country, and postpone the bigger trip for when we've been together for longer.
I would go to the fancy restaurant around the corner. Not travelling with someone I don't know.
Thank you
I don't know that's hard to say because I just met them. But damn I'd love to travel the world!
True
Not likely to happen, but we would go to Australia and spend three months doing the Grand Lap.
I will be back in Australia in the Fall of 2026. I will be in NZ and a lot of the islands in the South Pacific including the Hawaiian chain which I didn’t think I would see in my life for some reason. I wouldn’t make a special trip to them as they come off as touristy although I will see 4 of the islands there and hopefully not just high volume tourist areas. I am not sure how much of Australia I will see other than Sydney which I have seen before but liked a lot.
Japan looks like a nice place to visit for at least a month.
I have Japanese first cousin.
I would love to go on a cruise if I find the perfect girl
I enjoy cruises myself. No matter what they say, most lines are similar… people get so passionate about their specific favorite cruise line. I have had inside cabins, ocean view, balcony and large suites. They all are good as you can get incredible views and nice places to sit in many places on the ship… but those suites are wow. Balconies are good for places like Alaska so you have a private viewing of upclose scenery. For me though it is all about the destinations.
Botswana and Namibia
Lol, yeah not me. Did you see the list of vaccines needed? The link is the same it seems for both. Plus HIV warnings?

As long she is with me. I go anywhere anytime for how long we can sleep together
F*** no! I think I'd wake up in a bathtub of ice missing a kidney.
I might go down to the snack bar in my building for 20 minutes.
Edinburgh, Scotland! 🏴
Lets go to Nantucket for lobster.
Travel around the world on a cruise.
I actually had one booked but cancelled it. It was 142 days. I had just returned from a 28 day trip, 24 days on the ship, but we were ready to get off the ship at day 17 so we cancelled the world cruise. I am doing 2 cruises separated by a year, that will get to the parts I really wanted to see on the world cruise.
Anywhere but here.
Do a weekend trip.
I'm single, no girl wants me.
Love bombing
