Where do I start?

I’m almost 25 and have never been in a relationship, I have no real experience besides hookups in my late teens. I don’t know where to start looking for a genuine relationship. I heard dating apps are not friendly when it comes to guys like me 5’3 but I don't know how to meet women in public and in all honesty I don’t know any hobby clubs that I’d be interested that women are also interested, plus I have pretty big anxiety when it comes to women any ways. I only have one Friend that’s a women and in all honestly I’d prefer not to ask her for help. But I feel like I’m all out of options.

Unfortunately I’m in a similar situation as you in terms of past experiences yet being single so I can’t suggest something that works


But all my friends who are dating met their girlfriend through extended friends

Start by getting the names of all the women you see with any frequency -- servers at bars and restaurants you frequent, grocery store workers, etc. Find some events to attend that attract women. Volunteer with an organization that also has women volunteering.

At least you’ve had hookups. A lot of guys haven’t even had that, or have the opposite problem, relationships but never had a hookup. Why don’t you want to ask your female friend?

Every time I ask her for advice I always leave worse then how I originally felt with no answers. I don't know what it is about her but that’s just how it’s compared to how some of my past female friends advices. I wish I still kept in contact with them.

Never went to college and every woman at my job are attending a funeral or a grave because I work at a cemetery.
