I see lots of women's profiles saying what they want in terms of their partners looks, body and job.
"Looking for a tall men who's in a home he bought, not rented" type of statements.
Would it come off as rude if I do the but for my preferences?

What Girls Said
I feel like unless you have a terrific profile that is insanely interesting, that the chances of you finding someone with that tag is gonna be low. Women have way more options on those sites and we certainly are not going to waste time on someone who wants to play games like that.
How is voicing your preferences a "game"? Nearly all women's profiles that I see have requirements listed, I guess I don't see why men writing profiles in the same manner would be different.
I've seen women literally put things like "if you're not white, at least be light skin" and she gets many matches. Does the ends justify the means?
If she's getting matches, then her profile isn't problematic?
I consider the whole idea of needing someone to approach you first as playing a game. You are betting that you're worthy of being chased when most women are expecting you to do the chasing and honestly on a dating app women don't generally have to. It's a game you are bound to lose.
So go ahead, list your preferences for that and see where it gets you
Why are you phrasing it like a threat? You say you wouldn't play the game but it sounds like you feel entitled to make demands and have men play the game.
No, im not the type to sit around and wait for someone to approach me first. I don't play games like that.
Also wtf? Why are you bringing race into this?
Because I mentioned that women can list racial requirements and get matches, like you said it's a game men are bound to lose however those women win.
You also seem like the type to deny racism exists and say "it's just a preference"
Bruh.. I am Mexican, right now I'm acutely aware of how racist this country is. I don't get the idea of only dating certain races. I personally don't care what race someone is.
If someone wants to narrow their potential matches then they are playing a game too. One they could lose while they whine about not finding good matches
So why do you give a pass to women listing their demand but strike up a snotty snarky attitude at the idea of men doing the same?
You seem completely okay and mild mannered towards women playing the game but then threaten me for asking this question about following suit. Make it make sense
I think you are misreading the situation tbh
I think both are foolish for limiting their prospects. i didn't threaten you, I simply said in a nutshell that if you want to limit your choices and play a game of chance with a limited playing field then go for it but don't be surprised if it doesn't work.
There's nearly 0 times someone says "see what happens" to end a condescendingly toned message in which it wasn't a threat or a snarky gotcha
Like your entire mission statement seems to be about snobbishly saying "I told you so" preemptively instead of explaining the nuances. It's such a common theme that everyone who answers this question on this site thinks that eye rolling and shaming is a good way to communicate.
Can you explain why if males will get 0 matches for having a profile that lists their preferences, how do women who currently do this get matches? No 1 word vague post answers, like actually give a comprehensive explanation.
I'll give what I want to respond, not what you demand.
The answer is simple, options.
Women have more than men on dating sites. If both decide to play these stupid games then women will find more available matches than men
So you're trolling and performing for a crowd instead of engaging in good faith. Don't bother replying, you MAGA people are insane bye
No, I just don't take well to demands nor am I maga...
You might attract a dominant type of woman who doesn’t mind pursuing. You might have to give up your man card to her.
Would it be the same rate as having a hegemonically expected profile?
