3.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Probably because some women do not want to be stuck raising a child on her own , especially if her partner decides to bail on her if their relationship turns to dirt , Or she doesn’t want the responsibilities of raising a child period. Raising kids’ is a lot of work and responsibility that not everyone is capable of doing or wanting to do especially in todays ‘ world with everything being so expensive. You can also blame feminism for the reason as well. Me personally made 3 kids’ with my ex and after our 3 rd child I got a vasectomy , thinking I was going to spend the rest of my life with my wife. , our marriage was great for a long time until social media and feminism was really in the picture , when she got addicted to social media she started acting like she deserves better than what she had right in front of her , thinking Grass is greener on the other side , so she did a complete 360 on me and ruined our marriage and family. She started comparing our lives to other peoples’ lives and acted like I didn’t do enough , when all I did was work and I made a good salary , but it wasn’t enough for her , she was no longer satisfied with anything we had , when I told her to get a job , she looked at me like I was crazy , she has a horrible spending habit and thinks everything is on sale so she had to buy it , she had no problem spending money that she didn’t earn whatsoever , when money got tight she would blame me for not making enough , acting like I was supposed to work 3 jobs to support her lazy ass. i eventually separated from her ass , when I entered back into the dating world after a long time , I felt like I would have a hard time finding a girl because I knew I couldn’t give her babies , but to my surprise most girls’ I met , didn’t want babies , so it was kind of a win win for me lol but what I didn’t realize was the girls’ I was having sex with lied about being single when really they were married. So we live in such a beautiful world. I am glad I can’t make more kids’ to be honest with you , I wouldn’t want to bro g a new child into this fucked up world we live in period

Asker1 yhaha you are so selfish. did you really expect you would have enough time, attention or resources to support your existing children along with an extra child with another woman? doesn't sound like something a very dedicated father would say.
I'm also going to assume that our ex does 90% of the work raising your kids. Thats why you think you'd have enough time to father another few kids with another woman.
Asker1 y@finchie40
usually its the mother who does 90% of the work raising the kids. The father just visits once a month and then thinks he is an amazing dad cuz he visits his kids once a month. Often times, the father never visits but then he also demands equal recognition and rights as a parent.
In my opinion, if you aren't doing your fair share of raising your own children, you are not a father and your kids will lose nothing if they never see you again
there are way too many lazy dads or dead beat dads in our society. If you don't want to do the work of a father, you deserve your fatherly rights to be taken away- 1 y
If you're a 100% stay at home ADULT with children then of course the 90% child care is your responsibility. In the same way @Finchie40 was the bread winner 100% of the time he paid 100% of the rent and bills, THEN came home to support the household.
It's women with this attitude that think men are ONLY there to GIVE all of themselves to THEM in spite of them having the same number of hours in the day (kids go to school wtf do housewives then have to do apart from nails, hair, gym, friends, etc., to "entertain" them with?)
- 1 y
Yea I am far from a dead beat Dad , my kids’ stayed with me when my wife and I departed, sadly my kids’ were upset with my wife for a lot of things but I never bashed my wife to them whatsoever, even though at times I wanted to , but I didn’t because she is a good mom to them , she just suffers from anxiety and depression and ADHD , which after a long time her doctor finally diagnosed her with , and put her on Adderall which she should of been on a long time ago , My wife and I are still mutual for the kids’ sake , she wants to get back together with me but unfortunately I don’t have the same feelings for her like I use to , especially after all the stress she put me through , My wife claims she doesn’t want anyone else and blames her mental illness for the reasons she treated me like shit. Sadly to say it was like being married to Dr Jekyll Mr Hyde with her split personality, she would be sweet and loving to me and then out of nowhere’ she turn it this evil person towards me , I tolerated this shit for a lot of years thinking I could handle it until I realized I couldn’t , cuz it was sadly her mental illness was getting worse and worse through the years to the point I felt like I was walking on egg shells around her , not knowing who I was coming home to. My kids’ were even concerned for me as well and said Dad , why do you tolerate the way Mom treats you? All I said was because I love her and I know she needs help. Once our kids’ got older she got even worse to the point I had to walk away , I figured now that my kids’ are older they will be ok with having split parents’ also my wife made comments through the years saying to me , once the kids’ get older we will go our separate ways , those words didn’t sit with me well , so I knew my marriage was pretty much over and that she no longer loved and cared about me. She basically became a room mate to me , playing house together in a fucked up way. Once we separated she has been begging for me back because she
- 1 y
Knows no other guy would tolerate her crazy ass. So I told her to get serious help and we will see what happens , I still care about her for being the mother of our children , but sadly there are too many resentments that is making it harder for me to fully trust her again. after our separation i eventually started dating again and I met some girls’ that treated me way better then my wife did , so to give my wife another chance is definitely going to take some time

stay at home with kids?
MOST MOTHERS WORK JOBS THEN COME HOME TO DO 90% OF THE HOUEWORK AND CHILD CARE. WHILE THE FATHER IS OUT AT THE BAR WITH HIS FRIENDS ON THE WEEKEND, MOTHERS HAVE TO BRING THE KIDS TO DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS
This is the reason why women initiate 70% of divorces.
Asker1 y@finchie40
thats really not the topic of our discussion.
its the fact that there is little to nothing expect out of fathers in our society.
If you're not going to contribute, you shouldn't ever have the right to see your kids again.
Your kids won't be missing anything from never seeing you again.A man who gets a woman pregnant becomes a father. Not all fathers are dads vecause for them to becone a dad they have to play a positve roll in the child's life. If a man is with a woman who already has a child he can beco. e a dad to that child vut not a father because he is not biologically related to that child.
- 1 y
I agree there are a lot of dead beat Dad’s that shouldn’t be fathers’ period , but unfortunately you can’t just blame the guy , the girl is just as wrong as he is by spreading her legs to a guy like that in the first place without making him wear protection , so it takes 2 to tango. Females’ should be wiser on who they spread their legs for
- 1 y
Absolute nonsense that most mothers do this.
96% of SAH mothers don't even do anything during the day while fathers are at work just slaving away to come home to a mess and zero effort in herself after she's got her kids and house all paid for. Women just let themselves go and spend all day watching daytime TV, scrolling their phone and basically letting everything PAID for by his work go to shit. THEN they divorce and get to keep all that while he has to work to afford another house.
Asker1 y@Shiprex
dads don't help at home.
the truth is... men are not adequate providers. This is why women have to work 8 hour shifts, then come home to do 90% of the housework, child care.
this is also the reason why 70% of divorces are initiated by women
Truth is... there is no difference between a married mom and a single mom.
She would be working 8 hour shifts to come home to do 90% of the house work and child care regardless if she were a married or single mom- 1 y
Well if he that lazy and not splitting the chores and responsibilities with her , then she is best to reconsider staying on a relationship with that guy period , Relationships are supposed to be team work for them to work. So I don’t blame a girl for dumping or divorcing her partner if he isn’t doing worth of shit around the house , I understand once in awhile everyone needs a lazy day but if it’s consistent lazy days , then it’s time
To have a serious talk and if nothing changes after that talk , it’s best to part ways. Me personally will not stay on a relationship with a girl that doesn’t step up and help around the house whatsoever I will have her ass out the door in no time of that’s the case.
Asker1 y@finchie40
its not about around the house. this is about responsibilities regarding the children.
nowadays, married mothers do way too much around the house and with the kids all while working full time jobs since her husband cannot adequately provide for them.
this is why women initiate vast majority of divorces.
Asker1 y@Shiprex
In 2023, 82.0 percent of employed mothers with children ages 6 to 17 worked full time compared with 77.2 percent of mothers with children under age 6.

Bureau of labor statistics: Vast majority of mothers do not stay home.- 1 y
Women have been the ones to cause the reduced improvement in wages for work. They dropped the household manager roles to get access to wages and power that meant employers could have a larer cheaper workforce. SO THEY CAUSED WAGE STAGNATION tey didn't NEED ro they WANTED to while expecting men to just accept and pick up their slack from households.
If it was so oppressing, why didn't women offer to SWAP roles? They already had the power of households but WANTED MORE. Working class men throughout history handed over their earnings to WIVES who spent it. Now women want that STILL andto have their earnings for themselves. Like you said YOU WANT MAN'S EARNINGS and your own. Entitled af.
That the law is also on women's side in divorce because it allows them to keep their lifestyles and income unchanged from marriage but not give back what marriage brings for men - 1 y
Women getting out of households and into workplaces caused wage stagnation for everyone. Larger workforce means more competitive for workers so lower benefit and return from work.
Thanks
The dropping of tasks to create homes meant extra workload onto men with nothing better from relationships coming. MEN DOING LORE FOR LESS X2.

It's a combination of many reasons, mostly circumstantial and situational but also individualism. Pregnancy, childbirth and having children is a major responsibility for parents but particularly for women.
It's a risk in a sense as men don't have to deal with the whole pregnancy process and can bail any time they want with little to no consequence unless the mother tracks him down for child benefit. Even then, that money is not gonna substitute raising a child properly. Raising a child alone is not the ideal.
Then there is the cost and resources you'll need to raise a child - this is dependent on where you are though. I can barely afford rent even with a well-above-average grad salary. I'm too young to have a child right now but if I did, he or she would be at least partially struggling with me because of my circumstances.
Socially, women have more freedom to choose what they want to do with their lives and many choose to skip the children part entirely. I guess that's where the individualism comes in - most societies in developed countries have the privilege to base living around the self and not curate it around starting a family and taking care of other people their entire lives. Just like how care homes are exploding with old people because kids don't want to take care of their parents in their later years, younger people don't want to subtistute a life revolving around them for a life revolving around the world children or more awfully "ungrateful little shits" who are a load of trouble and bound to run amok in this lovely world...
With all that said, I love kids and I'd love to have them some day but it makes sense why people don't.40 Reply
Anonymous(18-24)1 yWhile attempting to answer your question something interesting came to my mind. The same way humans evolve and adapt maybe that’s a way women are evolving and adapting, well let’s think about it financially having a child is more expensive, we have more resources to prevent having a child (preconception specifically), societal norms are changing, then women had the time to stay at home and truly raise their child and fun fact men did too until war happened and men were sent to war women were stuck alone at home and that’s when gender roles truly set in— anyways times have changed and women aren’t expected to solely be wives and mothers, also education is more of a priority so I guess what I started to wonder is if women’s changing attitudes towards becoming mothers could be a form of evolution and adaptation? Who knows 🤷🏾♀️

1 yFeminism.
The birth control pill. Women are more self absorbed, materialistic and shallow than ever in history. Feminism tells them career, travel, endless sex out of marriage is the most important thing in life. Your endless happiness and self pleasure are all there is to life.
Before they kind of just had kids regardless because there was no pill. Even if a woman was hesitant about kids, the kids came anyway and they usually were glad they had kids after the fact.
Survival was more of the goal instead of hedonism and endless pleasure. People didn't use to live in these rich societies with all of our needs met and endless free time and excess money to spend on fun. Survival was hard to do throughout history.
We are so pampered now we can't even comprehend.
00 Reply 1.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. Because women actually know the cost of motherhood, and more of them are deciding it’s not worth blowing up their lives for it.
Men don’t face the same risks or sacrifices, so they’re less likely to think twice.
43 Reply545 opinions shared on Dating topic. Modern, primarily educated, primarily white women have been brainwashed to believe that a career is more important than children and family. This is the consequence of feminist ideology. Fortunately, the solution is for men too Recruit Foreign born women From the Far East or Latin America. Maybe that is the objective of feminism. Diversity Equity and Inclusion. I have that in my home. My wife is Oriental. My home demographics are diverse. She is getting a better outcome than my ex wife's, and I include her in everything. And maybe the intent of the feminist movement is the Browning of America and I am doing that.

1 yKids take a greater physical toll on women than they do men.
Having kids also tends to mean the death of women's careers and a complete change of social life and whatnot. It's just a huge lifestyle shift that men simply don't have to make.
I can't blame women for being nervous about going through that. Especially not in a society that worships women for youthful beauty and financial productivity.
20 Reply 896 opinions shared on Dating topic. because women are the ones who have to be pregnant and raise the kid mainly. it also impacts their career. men dont have to go through pregnancy, aren't impacted career wise and dont take care of the kids as much at all. so there's less drawbacks for them
