I don't think this is the way to look at it. She can be interested in you, even if you think you're less attractive. She may disagree about your being less attractive.

Unless you have some reason to suspect she isn't genuine, there's no reason to question this.

Who someone is attracted to doesn't always seem to make sense. Judge the person's intentions based on your interactions. Don't worry about this. Look at the behavior. If she seems to like you, then you're probably right.
