"dude, i gotta go"!

I was like yo stop. And he's like, "Gotta go".

and i'm like what the fuck. he looks at me and say, "Gotta go right now"!

Maybe he had some urgent matter that required his immediate attention elsewhere and simply wanted to keep it private. I would not necessarily assume he was stupid.
