What to do about this coworker?

Anonymous
So we have a new coworker and it's my second day working with her. Today I asked her what time she wanted to do lunch today because our supervisors want our shift to get together and figure out our lunch times to make it to where there's only a 30 minute difference between those of us working and taking lunch. I asked her and she asked the supervisor why I was asking her about her lunch time and the supervisor explained (mind you, the other coworker there with us tonight had already asked her and explained to her before I did because I asked her when she was at lunch, so she already knew) she kept acting like she didn't know my name and laughing saying "I don't remember her name" and calling me by another name seconds after telling her my name.
After she finished her lunch it was getting pretty late so I went and asked her about something that management expected to get done every night, she said "ok, we'll both go do it" I told her that I was wondering if she could do it tonight since usually they want one person to do it and I was a little behind tonight cause it was a busy day in my area and she got mad and asked me "are you my boss? Why are you telling me what to do? We'll do it together" so technically she's the one telling me what to do.
She started raising her voice so I just went to a manager nearby and explained to her that this coworker was making a scene, she came and still with a loud voice told the manager "this girl, I don't know her name, telling me what to do all day starting with telling me when to take my lunch" etc which is a bs lie, I let her choose and told her I'd take the other one.

We settled it with management and later I went over to her to squash any hard feelings and she ignored me when I tried to talk to her at first then she didn't even let me finish and said "you're good you're good" and gave me this look. I told her "I just wanted to make sure everything is alright because we're going to have to work together and we don't have to like each other to work together just respect each other" and she muttered something and said "you're good. Just don't bother me"

She just got here and she's acting like this. How do I deal with this? Should I just try to avoid her as much as possible?
I'm trying not to use stronger language or anything in this post cause I can't risk someone from my workplace finding this.
Either way, I'll keep it professional... and won't get in conflict with her, but I don't like her. AT ALL. Seems like a drama starter to me with a crap worth ethic.

Sorry for the updates, I had character limits writing this
