Should I continue talking to my work crush?

There is this cute guy at my job would always look at me for months and he finally started talking to me. At work he would come up to me to strike a conversation and finally asked for my instagram which I could tell he was really nervous to ask for it since he was kinda shaky. We started texting & told me how he always thougt I was so beautiful and loves my smile and my eyes & all of these compliments and he asked a lot about me. I saw how interested he was in me. After a week I brought up how he hasn't even asked me on a date so he asked when I was free. We went on our date however it did not go as I thought, he hardly spoke to me so I didn't speak either. Our date was mostly silent, when he dropped me off back home he got off the car and gave me a long hug telling me how much he enjoyed being with me and thank you for my time. The next day he told me he was nervous since he hasn't been on a date in over 2 years but he loved that he got to go on one with me and he felt so special since it was ME. At work he is always looking for me and tries to talk to me he even brings me little small gestures like drinks/snacks and he always so consistent with texting me asking about me and my day but on the date he was so different should I still give him a chance? I actually really like him.
