Should I text my crush asking her opinion on something about work?

We've had most of this week off from class and I haven't seen her, kinda miss her, we were having a lot of fun together until Monday but then the days off rolled by and I really wanna talk to her. We rarely text though so not sure if asking her about something from work might be the best idea

Might I ask, do you want to message her asking her how her work is going, or do you want to message her and see if you can meet up since you miss her so much? If it’s the latter, approach it like: “Hi, (insert her name here) I enjoyed talking with you at school and I’d like to know if you wanted to meet up sometime?” Everyone you’ve ever texted started with not having texted them at all, so don’t think on you having never messaged her too much!

I don't want to ask about her work I just want to get her opinion on something about mine that came up. I don't want to ask her out over text and especially not this week since she is spending time with her parents this week we have off, would be a waste of time to even ask. I just want an excuse to talk to her if that's clear?

If you want an excuse to talk with her, then just talk with her. If you want to hang out with her later, then hang out with her later. If this is a fear thing, then know that whatever her reaction is, will have nothing to do with you and will say nothing of your ability to make connections with others. But trust me, ask her how her work is, she’ll like it. Also you can ask her your thing too.

Thanks! I decided to just text her a photo of something I did this weekend, she said it was cute and I sent another pic. So I should ask her about her job then, ok. Or maybe about her weekend?

I am scared yeah, not sure why, she doesn't text much but in person we talk a lot, still nothing has happened between us though
